VISIT OF THE HOUSE COMMITTEE ON SCEINCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The House Committe on Science and Technology paid a visit to NARICT headquarters Zaria on 25th June , 2009. The Chairman of the Committee noted that NARICT has achieved a lot in the area of research but should make pragmatic efforts to ensure that all these technologies are transferred to private entreprenuers.
ZARIA ANGLICAN BISHOP VISITS NARICT
The Anglican Bishop of Zaria Diocese, Prof C.S.S. Bello and his entourage visited NARICT on Thursday, 9th July 2009. The Bishop and his team were conducted round NARICT facilities by the DG/CEO of NARICT Dr. E.M. Okonkwo. The Bishop prayed for the progress of NARICT and the country (Nigeria) at large.
SENATE COMMITTEE VISIT TO NARICT ZARIA
The Senate Committee on Science & Technology visited NARICT on 9th September, 2009 as part of their oversight function and as well monitor year 2009 budget performance.
D-G SMEDAN VISIT TO NARICT ZARIA
The Director General of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEDAN) visited NARICT on 10th September 2009. The Dg was impressed with NARICT and noted some projects which they will partner with NARICT for poverty alleviation programme.
